Provide pre-sales technical support to colleagues requiring assistance with equipment, hardware or service configurations and functionality (When required liaise directly with customers or prospective customers in relation to the same)
Perform a technical lead role in the review and response of RFP/RFI documents
Review technical specifications and make appropriate recommendations
Attend customer meetings in order to deliver technical content and presentations
As and when required perform proof of concept for customer
Conduct, review and document site surveys
Conduct and take responsibility for the technical verification and sign off of solution design, configuration, and interoperability and delivery cost assessment
Keep up to date with latest product developments from our chosen suppliers and within the industry in general
Participate in the technical handover of sales to the relevant project team (This will involve the creation of pre-defined documentation)
Be an escalation point for sales manager’s and installation engineers of previously sold projects
Perform any other/or additional duties as dictated by the needs of the business
Observe the environmental, health and safety policy and regulation
Requirement:
Higher Diploma or above, Qualifications in relevant discipline would be preferred
Be self-motivated and have good communication skills
With good PC skills, good command of writing and spoken in Cantonese, English and Chinese
At least 2 years of experience in performing a similar role is preferable
Candidate with less experience will be also considered
